This is an opportunity you won't want to miss!At the Rio+20 Conference, world leaders, along with thousands of participants from governments, the private sector, NGOs and other groups, will come together to shape how we can reduce poverty, advance social equity and ensure environmental protection on an ever more crowded planet to get to the future we want.FIABCI-Brasil will mark its presence at Rio+20 on Thursday, June 21st, at the Conference Center of the Windsor Barra Hotel (Avenida Lucio Costa, 2639 – Barra da Tijuca – Rio de Janeiro), by coordinating several side events which will focus on the discussion about irreversible necessities of sustainable attitudes in the real estate sector.The first program will take place on June 21, from 9 a.m. until noon. The theme of this seminar will be "Contributions to the Real Estate Market Sustainable Development" (see agenda here). The program will be filled with valuable presentations from members of FIABCI-Brasil who represent the private and public sectors of the local real estate market. The program will also include a welcome speech by FIABCI World President-Elect Mr. Flavio Gonzaga Bellegarde Nunes.Also on June 21st, there will be a United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development, a side event organized by FIABCI's Brasilian Chapter titled "Greening the Real Estate Market: The Development of a Sustainable Real Estate Sector." The event, which will take place from 14:30 to 18:00 in the Conference Room of the Windsor Barra Hotel, will focus on the importance of a healthy real estate market to a sustainable economy and presents the UNECE Policy for Sustainable Real Estate Markets.
